Ballotage Balls of the Berlin Academy of Sciences
On 3 July 1913, Einstein is elected to the Berlin Academy of Sciences. Traditionally, black and white (silver) balls are used for the secret vote. The result of the vote is 21 white balls in favour and only one black ball against.
