SuperNova 1993J

After the explosion, the red supergiant was named SuperNova 1993J.
Shortly after, it started emitting radio waves. In the image, SN 1993J just 8 months after the explosion.
Next movie shows observations of the supernova remnant made by VLBI until 1996.
