How does the Milky Way look if we observe it with a radiotelescope ?
The whole Milky Way has been observed with Effelsberg Radiotelescope, at a wavelength of 11 centimetres.

Next animations show the radio map of the Milky Way: the red central spot where the movie slows down corresponds to the galactic centre.
