Apothecary

The trained apothecary of the early modern age possesses nearly the entire knowledge of his age. In his hands everything becomes medicine. Tradition handed down from the ages is inseparably entwined with its alchemical interpretation.

Thanks to his skills and a laboratory complete with countless substances and devices, the apothecary can perform useful research. The preparation of tinctures and distillates requires precious implements made of glass, which quickly find regular implementation in this field.

Their products are so successful that production has to be expanded to keep up with demand. The glass alembic for the extraction of alcoholic essences and essential oils turns into a heatable cooking vessel with an attached lid, global in use and easy to clean.
