Albert Einstein writes about his plans for the future in an essay when he is still at school: I would like to study physics and mathematics. And he did this as well.

However, at first he does not appear to have been a particularly arduous student. He receives a written reprimand because of "lack of study". He could not of imagined at this time that just a few years later he would have such groundbreaking theories that would help him receive the Nobel Prize.
