Einstein Mania
New York Herald Tribune, 30 January 1929, reproduction

Einstein's name has been hitting the headlines since the General Theory of Relativity was confirmed by the 1919 eclipse expedition. For the rest of his life, every statement he makes will become a media event. For example, the New York Herald Tribune has a work by Einstein on the Unified Field Theory cabled to New York on 30 January 1929 on the day of publication and prints the paper in full in its next edition.
