Newton:

A charlatan, that’s what he is. The armchair scholars believed his fairy-tales instead of checking them in experiments. He even had the cheek to declare that heavy bodies fall faster than light ones.


Aristotle:

Of course they do, any child knows that. Greater causes have greater effects. And who are you, you dwarf, who dares deny the obvious?
