COBE Instruments

On board of COBE satellite there where three instruments.

The Differential Microwave Radiometer DMR should precisely map the cosmic microwave background radiation.
Two more instruments, FIRAS and DIRBE, should search for the cosmic infrared background radiation, and compare the spectrum of the cosmic microwave background radiation with a precise blackbody spectrum.
