On 22 March 1928, the German Commission for Intellectual Cooperation of the League of Nations is founded. The leading intellectuals of the German Reich of the day are represented: Albert Einstein, Thomas Mann, Fritz Haber, the Prussian Minister of Culture Carl Heinrich Becker, and the science policy experts Friedrich Schmidt-Ott and Georg Schreiber, along with other prominent scholars.
