Laser applications

In modern everyday life, we come across with the laser for example when the barcode is scanned at the supermarket till or when we are playing CDs and DVDs.

Via a microspcopically thin glass fibre, a laser may transmit millions of telephone calls in parallel, and in medical techniques does it render minimal invasive operations possible.

Modern industrial fabrication is unthinkable without the laser, too.
