Laserdrilling (contacting)

In order to produce compact electronic modules, sandwich structures are used: 16 conductor plates are arranged in layers here, one upon the other, to a single unit. Subsequently contacts are set to the end of which holes are drilled into definite depths each - a task for the laser. Using laser light, the resin layer on top of a conducting layer may be exactly eroded, in the example here with a diameter of only 80 micrometres.
