A new fundamental aspect of quantum mechanics is that there are measurements that necessarily influence each other. Two such measurements are represented here by two differently colored cups. One can only lift up one of the cups. When one cup is lifted up, the value of the dice under the other cup (when that cup is lifted up again) is different from before. Such measurements are known as non-commutable. Measurements of the position and velocity of a particle are an example of this.
