However, if both green cups are lifted up, then the values are always the same. For this reason, Einstein asserts that by observing one dice, one can always deduce the value of the dice in the same colored cup on the other side without lifting it up. As one can choose whether to lift up the blue or green cup, the value of a dice under a freely chosen cup on the other side can be predicted.
